Jonathan Moore, DPM, MS
Dr. Jonathan Moore received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. He subsequently completed a three year podiatric medical/surgical residency including a one year Diabetic Foot Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Moore became the first foot & ankle surgeon to be appointed staff privileges at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Dr. Moore is widely published on numerous foot and ankle related topics and serves on multiple professional boards. He was also recently named as one of Podiatry Management's most influential podiatric physicians in America. Dr. Moore resides in Somerset with his wife Kim and their three children, Gabriel, Audrey and Jonathan.
Pamela Jensen, DPM
Dr. Pamela Jensen-Stanley is a graduate from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in DesMoines, Iowa. She completed her primary podiatric and surgical residency training at the prestigious University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas with an emphasis in Diabetes and Diabetic Wound Care. She is published on numerous diabetic and wound care related topics.
Dr. Jensen-Stanley moved to Kentucky to join Cumberland Foot & Ankle in 2003 and formalized the partnership in 2005. She is currently Lower Extremity Wound Specialist at the Russell County Wound Care Center and Director of the Podiatry Wound Care Center at Cumberland Foot and Ankle in Somerset, KY.
Dr. Jensen-Stanley resides in Somerset with her husband, Dallas, her step-son, Logan, and daughter, Sierra. Dr. Jensen-Stanley is active in Somerset Rotary and the American Cancer Society. She is also a lifetime member of Alpha Phi Omega, an International Co-ed Community Service Fraternity. Dr. Jensen is at the Russell Springs Location on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Christopher Miller, DPM
Dr. Chris Miller, originally from Cincinnati, obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati, and attended medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 3 year Podiatric Medical and Surgical residency at the prestigious Mercy Hospital / University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, specifically diabetic foot care and foot and ankle orthopedics. Dr. Miller has received his most recent certification: Diplomate, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Certified in Foot Surgery.
Dr. Miller joined Cumberland Foot and Ankle in 2005 and became partner in 2007. He is currently on staff at Lake Cumberland Regional, and St. Joseph London. He is taking new patients at our Somerset office.
Denita McDonald, APRN, MS
Denita received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University in 1997 and she obtained her Master's Degree of Science in Nursing also from Western in 2002. Denita received Top Academic Award in her BSN and MSN Classes. She is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is also a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners & Midwives.
Jeffrey Schnell, DPM
Dr. Jeffrey Schnell, a native Kentuckian, attended the University of Louisville for his undergraduate studies. He then went on to receive his Doctorate from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Miami, Florida. After graduating, he completed a 3-year surgical residency program at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. During residency, he trained in surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle, diabetic foot care and sports related injuries, and is currently a board certified wound care specialist.
Shannon Schnell, DPM
Dr. Shannon Schnell, originally from the Kentuckiana area, studied at the University of Louisville for her undergraduate degree. She also graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Miami, where she received her Doctorate. She then moved to Farmington Hills, Michigan to pursue her residency at Botsford Hospital in a 3-year surgical program. She has received extensive training in pediatric, diabetic and rheumatoid foot deformities, and is also a board certified wound care specialist.
Amy Barko, DPM
Dr. Amy Anne Barko received her doctor of podiatric medicine degree from The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH. She also completed her three year surgical residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. Following her residency she also completed a one-year fellowship in Infectious Disease and Wound Care at University Hospitals of Cleveland. (UH was named one of the nation's top hospitals 2013/2014).
Dr. Amy Anne Barko resides in Corbin with her husband Ryan and their two children Mariah and Spencer. She has privileges at Baptist Health Corbin and Cumberland Valley Surgical Center. Aside from work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family.
Phillip Hasler, DPM
Dr. Hasler is originally from Lexington, KY, but attended college in Brighman Young University followed by medical school at the Des Moines College of Podiatric Medicine in Iowa. Needless to say, he is excited to be back in the Blue Grass State.
Following medical school, Dr. Hasler completed a prestigious 3-year surgical residency at the Salt Lake City Intermountain Medical Center where he performed a wide variety of foot and ankle surgeries along with an extensive amount of diabetic foot and ankle care
Jerry Roberts, DPM
Dr. Jerry Roberts grew up in Griffin,GA and attended the University of Georgia. He trained at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his surgical training in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Roberts is trained in Advanced Wound Care and Limb Preservation techniques. While in Cleveland he received training in correction of flat foot deformities in adults and children, foot and ankle trauma and Total Ankle Joint Replacement.
His professional priority is providing the highest level of care to the Somerset and Whitley City communities. His personal priority is his family, especially his wife, Sarah and their three little girls. "If you are hurting, please come in and let us help you," said Dr. Roberts. "There are many surgical and non-surgical options to treat most causes of foot pain." He encourages routine foot examinations and preventive care for those who are diabetic as the best way to protect from infections and amputations.
Chad Cooper, DPM
Dr. Chad Cooper has been in the healthcare field for over 15 years. He worked as a certified pharmacy technician throughout his undergraduate education. Dr. Cooper graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Biology degree with plans to attend graduate school. He completed his medical education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Cooper then joined UF Health Orthopedic Department in Jacksonville and completed a 3 year surgical residency at Shands. While at UF Health, he received extensive training in common podiatric surgeries as well as reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle.Dr. Cooper is well versed in diagnosing and treating disorders of the foot and ankle, employing conservative measures, but expertly qualified in surgical intervention when necessary. He looks forward to treating your foot and ankle complaints with a little Southern Georgia charm.
